This was amazing! Sarah and Kevin were camped near us, and we chatted several times during the day. In the evening, they all came over bearing chairs, wood, firestarter, marshmallow toasting sticks, and s'more ingredients for us.
Kevin explained that this was his version of "Trail Magic" -- an unexpected act of kindness for long distance hikers on the Appalachian Trail.
He started the fire for us, and then they all went off to the movies while Monica and I sat around the campfire roasting marshmallows. A wonderful close to two weeks on the bikes!
