After Dede's talk, there were chanted prayers. The prayers were repetious chants accompanied by music. Nice to listen to.
Then there was a break for food -- everyone was given chickpea pilaf and a yogurt drink.
Then the dancers started. They were mainly women. Traditionally, they were all men. Including women is one of Dede's reforms. Women were also among the musicians.
