Our room at the "pension." This sort of place is called a village house. Like Fatima's place, Huseyin has created some nice rooms with bathrooms to accommodate guests.
Yesterday, we met Huseyin's son on the road to Saribelen. He established that we would be heading here. Huseyin met us as soon as we reached the edge of town and insisted on putting us and our backpacks in his car for the short trip across the village to his house. Later, we discovered that he or his wife keep an eye on the section of trail that descends steeply into the village and race over to pick up guests.
He takes great pride in being listed in the German guidebook as the place to stay in Gokceoren. In fact, his is the only place to stay.
