Why is this bust sliced and have a hole in its cheek? The answer made me laugh.
The bust is of Stefan Stambolov. Stambolov was killed by assassins. His killers were aware that Stambolov wore a protective vest, so they concentrated on his head. They fractured his skull and stabbed his face. Hence the crack and stab wound in the bust.
