The Delaware Water Gap. As Monica said, "It's actually the Delaware water, railroad, and interstate gap." Everything seems to go through the Gap, including the Appalachian Trail.
Unfortunately, there's not room for everything so hikers and bikers need to cross on a walkway on the I-80 bridge that is a foot from traffic. Would have been more pleasant to wade the Delaware. But while we were crossing this ghastly thing, a bald eagle flew over us. There's a disturbing metaphor in there someplace. Gack.
