There are probably a dozen nice restaurants and pubs in downtown Easton.
According to our primary informants -- an Easton Ambassador, who roams around the center of the city helping tourists and intimidating drug dealers , and the clerk at Condoms Galore -- Easton, like many cities fell on hard times and the central part of the city suffered. The family-owned stores with big windows and tiled entrances closed and the heart of the city was given over to drug dealers and vagrants.
The city has obviously spent some money on infrastructure in the center city -- plantings, bike paths, an art trail, some nice waterfront parks, etc. -- and today, downtown Easton is quite nice.
