Betty Avis a few years ago. Betty played in several symphonies, retiring from the Plainfield Symphony only last year after playing with Plainfield for 52 years. At the time, her son Danny, wrote "Thank you mom for showing us the meaning of commitment and forever being the music in our lives."
Betty is diigently downsizing and de-cluttering. She was constantly pulling out one treasure or another to show me, often with a story about a friend from high school or college.
