Mark's French/Italian relatives were near the end of a several week visit to Odebolt, Iowa. (Two of Mark's favorite relatives live in Odebolt.)
Odebolt (pop. 977), a nice, trim town that is near nothing but industrial-scale cornfields, may appear on some of the more detailed maps of Iowa.
A highlight of Mathias's day was to walk to this church and hear the bell chime.
