About five miles before Windsor Locks, we stopped for coffee. As soon as I sat down, my phone started binging with photos from Maggie who had arrived in Milano and an email from Todd Madison reviewing Tote's novel.
Before we left we were joined by Gary Scarella who stopped to ask us about our trip. It turns out he has completed all but a small part of the perimeter of the United States. He has ridden all of the major Adventure Cycling routes with the exception of the TransAm, which he plans to do next summer.
Gary rode with us to Windsor Locks, while we conversed about cycling. Fun.
