September 2014: Around Seoul

Sungnyemon Gate, restored after an arsonist destroyed it in 2008.  Before the fire, it was the oldest wooden structure in Seoul, dating back to 1398.

It is the South Gate of ancient Seoul.  We'll return to it, and pass the other three principal gates, when we walk the old wall of Seoul.
