This is a typical bike rider sporting the
bizarre kit that is typical in Seoul. He has a
long-sleeved jersey, tights, and around his neck is a full face
mask. Not so weird if this were a winter day, but the
temperature was over 80 degrees.
He is also riding a carbon fiber mountain bike, tricked out with
lightweight parts. Keep in mind that the bikepath is
smooth and the streets in Seoul are literally without
potholes. If there are mountain bike trails in Seoul, we
didn't see them on any of our walks.
I suppose this is an example of the "style" that people say is
so important in Korea.
