This is one of the five palaces of
Seoul. This palace, once one is past this front gate,
seemed to be least visited.
The front gate is a tourist circus but a colorful, fun
one. Unlike the other palaces, the guards here pose with
tourists -- in fact the changing of the guard ceremony pauses a
couple times for tourists to join the guards and snap
away. One can also rent costumes and pretend to be guard
or a lady, etc.
