Most of the way from West Kennebunk to Portland we were on a rail trail that is part of the East Coast Greenway. The goal of the Greenway is to link Key West to Calais with an offroad route. Though there's a route marked on a map, and it's possible to traverse the whole thing, the Greenway is not complete. I'd like to give it try.
