There are free tours in various
languages. Our guide is the woman dressed in period
clothing with the parasol. As with most tours I have
been on, the guide was charming, the information a bit shaky,
and the main virtue turned out to be meeting an interesting
fellow tourist.
In this case, I chatted with Winston Chong, the gentleman
sitting directly in front of the door on the left. Winston
is from Singapore. We had an interesting conversation
about religion, ethnicity, and government. He was on his
honeymoon trip: that's his wife Reina on his right.
Winston writes a clever,
irreverent, and funny blog.
I should have called this album Changs and Chongs.
